- The documentary ‘Ah Quon McElrath: The Struggle Never Ends!’ will broadcast on PBS stations in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Oregon.
- McElrath was a key figure in Hawaii’s labor movement who helped found UH Manoa’s Department of Ethnic Studies and served on the UH Board of Regents.
- The film was produced by UH West Oahu’s Center for Labor Education and Research, which has been providing labor education since 1976.
- Major funding came from private donations including The Barbara Cox Anthony Endowment at the Thompson School of Social Work and Public Health.
