The Maui Police Department graduated 13 new officers from its 99th recruit class, who will now begin four months of field training with veteran officers.
- Thirteen new police officers graduated from the Maui Police Department’s 99th recruit class.
- The graduation ceremony was held at Grand Wailea Resort on June 5, 2026.
- New officers will complete at least four months of supervised field training before working independently.
- Jacob Naganuma received the Outstanding Recruit Award among other honors presented.
