- The altercation reportedly began earlier that evening near Whalers Village shopping center before escalating at the resort pool area.
- Maui Police and EMS responded to the scene; some victims received medical treatment while others declined.
- The resort’s management stated it is cooperating fully with authorities, and MPD says the investigation is ongoing.
