The Lights for Lahaina community gathering returns for its second year on September 11–12, with free public events including live music, a candlelight march, food vendors, and cultural activities in Lahaina. The two-day event is organized by nonprofit Aloha Amplified and sponsored in part by the Hawaii Tourism Authority and County of Maui.
- Lights for Lahaina will be held Sept. 11–12, 2026, with free admission at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church and surrounding Lahaina town.
- Sept. 11 features live entertainment, food trucks, cultural activities, and a community time capsule project running 4:30–9 p.m.
- Sept. 12 includes a Light March from Puʻunoa Beach through historic Lahaina town, followed by a music gathering at the church, 6–9:30 p.m.
- The event draws visitors to Lahaina and may increase short-term foot traffic and rental demand in the area around that weekend.
- Food truck, vendor, and volunteer spots are still available through LightsforLahaina.org.
