- Maui’s south-facing shores can expect surf of 7–10 feet Monday morning, rapidly building to 12–16 feet Monday afternoon and evening.
- A High Surf Advisory is also in effect for east-facing shores of Maui for waves of 7–10 feet through Monday.
- Coastal properties, infrastructure, harbor entrances, docks, and boats are at risk of significant damage statewide.
- Coastal evacuations and road closures are possible, particularly on islands closest to the storm’s path.
