The 34th annual Hula O Nā Keiki competition is relocating from Kāʻanapali resort ballrooms to Kamehameha Schools Maui in Pukalani on Oct. 9–10, 2026. The event will be livestreamed globally for the first time.

- The Oct. 9–10 event will be livestreamed worldwide, expanding its audience beyond in-person attendees.
- The larger Upcountry venue is expected to accommodate more guests than previous resort-based settings.
- Maui’s only keiki hula competition features soloists ages 6–17 competing in both ancient and modern hula styles.
- Outrigger Kāʻanapali Beach Resort, which acquired the original host property in 2023, remains connected to the event.
