Maui County’s Office of Recovery is holding its third Commercial Property Workshop on September 30 for Lahaina business and property owners navigating the rebuilding process. The event will also preview a new county ‘concierge’ program aimed at streamlining permitting and reconstruction support.
- The free workshop runs 4–6 p.m. on Sept. 30 at Morgado Hall, Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului, with a livestream option on the County of Maui Facebook page.
- Commercial property owners, architects, engineers, and business owners in Lahaina’s historic districts are the target audience.
- The county will unveil a proposed rebuilding ‘concierge’ program designed to give property owners more coordinated, proactive help through permitting and reconstruction.
- Attendees are encouraged to bring specific project questions; county staff will be on hand to address permitting challenges and historic district requirements.
