Maui Bus will skip several stops and reroute multiple lines on October 1 due to the Maui County Fair Parade closing part of Ka’ahumanu Avenue. Service disruptions extend through October 4 for commuter parking near the fairgrounds.
- Routes #1, #2, #5, and #6 will eliminate multiple afternoon stops along Ka’ahumanu Avenue and surrounding streets starting October 1.
- All remaining routes will still serve existing stops but may run late due to parade traffic.
- Wailuku Loop Route #1 will skip all Kanaloa Avenue stops during Maui County Fair operating hours (Oct. 1–4).
- Commuter parking shifts from War Memorial Stadium to the Kahului Boat Ramp for the duration of the fair (Oct. 1–4).
- Guests relying on Maui Bus should check the Maui Bus app for real-time updates and adjusted schedules.
