Maui County will debut myMauiTAT, a new online portal for managing Transient Accommodations Tax accounts, in October 2026. The 3% MCTAT rate, filing requirements, and due dates are not changing.
- The myMauiTAT portal launches October 2026, allowing property owners to view balances, payment history, and correspond with the MCTAT Office online.
- Bank account (eCheck/ACH) payments through the portal will be free; credit/debit card payments still carry a $2.50 fee plus 2.5% processing charge.
- Tax returns are NOT filed through myMauiTAT — existing filing methods, frequencies, and deadlines remain unchanged.
- No advance registration is needed; login credentials will be mailed to the address on file with the MCTAT Office.
- Property owners should continue filing and paying as usual until further transition instructions are provided closer to launch.
