Maui County reported two separate water service outages on June 4th affecting East Maui and Upcountry areas due to emergency mainline break repairs. The outages impacted a combined 75 residences across both locations.
- East Maui’s Honokalani Road area experienced a 3-hour water outage starting at 8:20 am due to emergency mainline break repairs
- The East Maui outage affected approximately 25 residences and 3 standpipes
- Upcountry Maui’s Koheo Road area had a separate 2-hour outage beginning at 4:45 pm for similar emergency repairs
- The Upcountry outage impacted approximately 50 residences and 2 hydrants
- Residents can report water emergencies or get post-restoration guidance through the county’s 24/7 water service helpline
