Maui County will perform overnight waterline repairs on Makawao Avenue between Baldwin Avenue and Makani Road on June 30 and July 1, causing brief water interruptions and limiting through traffic. Work runs 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night.
- Water service may be briefly interrupted on Makawao Avenue overnight June 30–July 1 and July 1–July 2 (10 p.m.–5 a.m.).
- The affected stretch runs between Baldwin Avenue and Makani Road in Makawao.
- Through traffic will be detoured via Olinda Road, Hanamu Road, Meha Road, and Kealaloa Avenue; local access is maintained.
- Property owners with guests in the area should notify them of potential water interruptions and the alternate route.
