The County of Maui Office of Recovery is holding its third Commercial Property Workshop on September 30 for Lahaina business and property owners navigating reconstruction. The event will cover permitting challenges and preview a new county “concierge” program to streamline rebuilding support.
- The free workshop runs 4–6 p.m. on Sept. 30 at Morgado Hall, Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului.
- Commercial property owners, architects, engineers, and business owners in Lahaina’s historic districts are the target audience.
- The County will introduce a proposed rebuilding ‘concierge’ program designed to provide coordinated, proactive permitting and reconstruction support.
- Attendees are encouraged to bring specific project questions for direct dialogue with County staff.
- The presentation will be livestreamed on the County of Maui Facebook page for those who cannot attend in person.
