Wailea Golf Club is hosting a PGA Jr. League Regional tournament this weekend, drawing 16 youth All-Star teams competing for spots in national championships. The event runs Friday through Sunday at Wailea’s Gold Course.
- 16 youth All-Star teams, including two from Oʻahu, are competing at Wailea Golf Club September 19–21 for national championship berths.
- The tournament spans the full weekend, with championship matches scheduled for Sunday morning at approximately 11:30 a.m.
- Winners in the 13u division advance to PGA Frisco in Texas (Nov. 11–15, broadcast on ESPN); 17u winners head to New Mexico (Oct. 22–25).
- Wailea’s Gold Course, a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design exceeding 7,000 yards, previously hosted the Champions Skins Game from 2001–2007.
