Mayor Richard Bissen is hosting a series of community meetings island-wide through November to gather resident input on the fiscal year 2028 county budget. Property owners can attend in person, submit comments online, or watch via the County of Maui Facebook page.
- Meetings run from September 16 through November 12, covering Upcountry, Haiku/Paia, Central, South, West Maui, Molokai, Lanai, and East Maui.
- Residents can provide verbal or written comments at any meeting, or submit budget requests online at mauicounty.gov/budget.
- The West Maui meeting is scheduled for October 16 at the Lahaina Civic Center Social Hall.
- All meetings run 5–7 p.m. and will be livestreamed on the County of Maui Facebook page for those unable to attend.
